In the greenhouse growing anthurium at Suzhong Garden, environment-detecting sensors are installed to measure and monitor air temperature & humidity, photosynthetically active radiation, soil temperature & moisture, EC, etc. And based on the botany characteristics of anthurium, plant ontology sensors especially developed by AWL are also installed with our GBI (Growth-based-irrigation) system: leaf temperature sensors and stem microvibration sensors.
Our GBI system collects real-time date, combined with anthurium data accumulated from Suzhong Garden, and adopts advanced algorithm to analyze anthurium’s living environment conditions in different growth stages, checking if it’s the best for anthurium to grow. Meanwhile alerts are sent to growers to utilize facilities (tide-type irrigation, fans, sunshades, wet curtain etc) to let anthurium grow in the most suitable environment, thus yielding good quality.
